CV & Credentials

I graduated Order of the Coif from Vanderbilt Law School in 2020 while concurrently completing a Ph.D. in neuroscience as part of Vanderbilt’s Integrated Law and Neuroscience J.D./Ph.D. Dual Degree Program. I was named both a John W. Wade Scholar, the law school’s highest merit award, a Legal Academy Scholar, which recognizes students who show promise as legal academics, and a National Institute of Justice Graduate Research Fellow, a competitive grant which funded my research. Before graduating, I co-authored an article, Term Limits and Turmoil: Roe v. Wade’s Whiplash, with Professor Suzannah Sherry that was published in the Texas Law Review. I also was Senior Articles Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review in charge of article selection.

After graduation I clerked for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and currently am an associate with the boutique law firm of Gelber, Schachter, & Greenberg P.A. in Miami. My practice is comprised primarily of white- collar criminal defense, but also includes complex civil litigation, healthcare, local government, and civil rights. While at the firm, I have second-chaired a jury trial on securities and wire-fraud charges, argued contested sentencings and motions, advised local governments and private clients on cutting edge legal issues, and drafted pleadings and briefings across a broad range of criminal and civil issues.
