In addition to my scholarship, I am an associate at a boutique law firm handling issues from white collar criminal defense to complex commercial litigation. We specialize in federal court litigation. I have handled a broad range of issues including first amendment rights, false claim act qui tam actions and defense, class actions, local government issues, false arrest, wire fraud, and security fraud. As part of my practice I have argued contested sentencings, drafted and argued numerous evidentiary and substantive motions, and served as second chair in a 10 day jury trial for one of the first criminal securities fraud cases alleging that a cryptocurrency is a security.
My practice operates in synergy with my scholarship and serves as a source of ideas and as a reminder to ground my research in ways that can have an on-the ground impact.
More details on my practice can be found here.
